Hlane Royal National Park offers two accommodation options for overnight visitors. Ndlovu Camp is the main rest camp from where most park activities take place. It is situated on the flatlands overlooking a waterhole populated by hippo and visited regularly by other big game. Bhubesi Camp is on the elevated banks of the densely vegetated Umbuluzana River. Ideal for self-catering travellers, this camp is quiet and appeals to bird-watchers.

Ndlovu Camp Is situated immediately inside the main gate off the main tarred Simunye road through Hlane. The camp overlooks a waterhole, which, especially in winter, attracts a wide diversity of game including white rhino, elephant and giraffe. The camp is protected from big game by a three-strand electric cordon, which although not stopping smaller game movement, does keep the larger animals at bay. The camp is open and reminiscent of the old Kruger National Park rest camps, with abundant bird life and a relaxed communal atmosphere. Ndlovu is the place to absorb the simple pleasures of Africa.
Bhubesi Camp Is in the northwest corner of the park and can be reached either by internal park roads from the main gate or through a separate gate on the Simunye-Ngomane road (visitors have to check in at the main gate first). The camp overlooks the Umbuluzana River, with its reed beds and dense riverine vegetation. The camp is private and quiet and is not accessible to day visitors, thus perfect for the uninterrupted one-on-one experience with the bush.
