Legends Backpacker Lodge has five types of accommodation: 10 x private rooms, 2 family rooms, 5 x dormitory rooms, 15 x 2-sleeper dome tents and plenty of camping sites. The lodge has a purpose-built brand-new ablution facility that they are very proud of. It features male and female shower rooms each with 4 private shower cubicles and 4 basins, as well as 5 x private ablution cubicles for private room guests. each private cubicle has its own toilet, shower and basin, with one cubicle shared between 2 rooms. The private rooms have a variety of set-ups to suit demand, twin beds, double beds, triple and even 4-sleeper formats. The dorm rooms sleep between six and twelve persons. Total capacity at Legends is currently around 95 persons (with further expansion in the pipeline) making it an ideal choice for volunteer and school groups, looking for reliable accommodation at a good price. Camping is available in the large shaded garden with plenty of space for tents, overland trucks or camper vans. All rooms are strictly non-smoking. There is a overflow camp which can be erected for group bookings, which comprises of 15 x 2-sleeper dome tents.
Cancellation Policy
All refunds offered are less a 10% administration fee.
Legends Backpackers Lodge charges no additional penalty for individual booking cancellations communicated up until 48 hours of arrival.
Please note that the cancellation policy for group bookings (10+ persons or 3+ rooms) is as follows:
21 - 14 days - 25% penalty
13 - 7 days - 50% penalty
6 - 0 days - 100% penalty
Other Information
Late check-out is possible, depending on availability of rooms and always with prior notice to reception.
Legends Backpacker Lodge is a family-friendly establishment that has double rooms with bunk beds for two extra persons.
Legends provides youth hostel style accommodation and is self-catering overall. Please bring your own personal towel and toiletries.
